What's the Deal?

Alright, welcome to my all new blog. In this first post, I'll go over what I'll be covering in this blog from here on out. Here's a breakdown by subject/category.

News - Nothing too hardcore here. For the most part I will stay away from politics. Mostly I'll be commenting on top news stories and weird news stories.

Sports - I'll probably enjoy writing about sports the most. There should be something for all sports fans to enjoy even though a lot of focus will be on Boston Red Sox baseball (Now, I know what you're thinking: Great. Another Red Sox Blog. Don't worry, I'm not going to recap every game or rant and rave about the typical issues - i'll try to keep things fresh), New England Patritos Football, and UConn Men's Basketball. Eventually I'll get into why these are the 3 teams I follow most passionately. I'll also blog about any major or minor sports story that intrigues me. You'll see a bit on fantasy sports. And finally, I'll be commenting on columns (especially Bill Simmons aka the Sports Guy).

Business/Finance - Specifially Venture Capital and Private Equity stuff. Why? Cause its what I do at work and while it may be the last thing I may want to write about after work I think there's a lot out there in the industry that people don't know about that I think they should know. This stuff really affects the economy and your every day life more than you would think. Keeping the audience in mind I'm gonna keep it real and not use many technical terms in trying to relate to your every day life.

Electronics/Gadgets - A bit of a nerd when it comes to this stuff. I'll probably go over any new things that come out that I find cool.

Travel - I love to travel and have been to a lot of different places around the world. I'll write about a lot of my experiences and give some tips and recomendations.

TV/Movies - Don't have too much time to watch a lot. Thank god for on demand. I'll comment on some of the shows I watch most regularly including Entourage, Weeds, The OC (yeah, the OC.) and more.

Other - I have a feeling I'll be writing a lot about a lot of random things I come across every day. Things that strike me as noteworthy, ridiculous, amusing etc.
